picking a golf driver. big head or small? for a driving range?

what is the difference between the two.? im looking for something to kill the ball and win the distance challenge against friends…i know theirs skill in the shot process too but club wise..
just to give you more info to get me the right club in avereage fitness and height, very active..
any information ot tips about clubs would greatly be a great help
